Liam O’Connor, Consultant

Prior to joining Redeye in 2010, Liam studied psychology in Dublin then graduated with distinction from Human-Computer Interaction with ergonomics at UCL. This background gives him considerable insight into the core principles and techniques of User Centred Design (UCD).

This knowledge was put to use during a detailed analysis of interactive medical devices at the Royal Free hospital for his thesis. Following this, he considers medical equipment an area where UCD has a long way to go.

Liam worked on a diverse range of projects prior to joining Redeye, from games usability testing with a major video games developer to information architecture for a mobile website. He was also heavily involved in the design and creation of an innovative web application, during which creating quick and dirty prototypes as well as polished hi-fidelity designs were key skills.

These projects highlight his particular passion for the mobile web and his interest in wireframing.

Our work is enhanced by an extended team of senior usability consultants and specialists within RedEye’s analytics and behavioural email divisions.
